7 Albayanos notched RME and REE

With pride and glory, Albay produces 7 top notchers in the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination and Registered Master Electrician last September 2016.

Among the top notchers of the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination is Reymark Madrigalejos Embate from Bicol University Legazpi who garnered 6th place with an average of 93.

The 6th placer, after many unexpected circumstances that somehow doubted himself to become a placer still managed to successfully become another bragging rights of Bicol University.

“Super thankful po ako kasi nakapasa po ako at top 6 pa. Kahit na nagkasakit ako before board exam- allergy, trangkaso, LBM, nosebleed. Sa sobrang stress at pressure ata kasi nga cum laude at nagtopnotcher ako sa RME. After board, marami pala akong mali kaya parang kumonti yung chance na mag placer ako. Nung lumabas yung result, sobrang saya ko po. Sobra,” says Embate.

While, in the Registered Master Electrician Examinations, 5 students from Bicol University and 1 student from Divine Word College of Legazpi are placers of the said exam.

Among the top notchers of the RME Licensure Examination are the following: Alexander Tumbaga Zurbito Jr. from Bicol University being the topnotcher with an average of 93, Von Jeric Orpiada Orllina of Bicol University Legazpi on 6th place with an average of 92, Danalin Mae Consulta Cañon of Bicol University Legazpi got the 5th place with a rating of 91, Remsen Pascua Bulan of Bicol University got the 6th place with a rating of 90.50, Marl Darwyn Rodriguez also from Bicol University got the 8th place with a rating of 89.50 and Ged Eric Capina Sambajon of Divine Word College of Legazpi got the 9th place with a rating of 89.

However, when asked how did they make it through as one of the top placers, Canon, a 5th placer in RME said

“The real goal is passing. Placing can be just considered as bonus. Yes, i did dream of having my name on the list of placers but never have i thought that it would really happen. Indeed dreams are really worth more than your sleep. I prayed to God to pass, but He gave me more than what I asked for.”

“Nung una, hindi ko pa talaga sigurado kung makakapasa ako kasi alam ko may mga mali na agad ako. Pero, positive pa rin ako na papasa ako sa RME. Pero yung mag 8th place, wala talaga sa isip ko. Nung nalaman ko yun, sobrang thankful ako kay papa God. Worth it lahat ng pag aaral ko” Rodriguez expressed.

Furthermore, the RME Licensure Examination was taken last September 4, 2016 while the REE Licensure Examination was taken last September 2 and 3, 2016.

The top 10 will also receive incentives from the PRC according to their rankings in the examination.
